TechFlow news, Lamina1, the chief technology officer Will Carter of the metaverse blockchain network Lamina1 announced that the testnet has launched. The first phase of the testnet is fully open to the public, allowing users to test core functionalities of the Lamina1 blockchain platform based on the Avalanche codebase. Lamina1 plans to roll out new features on a regular 2-3 week cadence and will incentivize community participation by launching weekly challenges to test each version.
Reportedly, in June last year, science fiction author Neal Stephenson partnered with crypto pioneer Peter Vessenes to launch the metaverse blockchain network "Lamina1," with both serving as CEO and Chairman of Lamina1 respectively. In December last year, Lamina1 announced the launch of the Lamina1 Ecosystem Fund (L1EF), enabling startups to raise funds from angel investors. The platform offers rolling funding, allowing interested investors to support projects through quarterly subscriptions, with a minimum subscription fee of $2,500 per quarter for a minimum term of four quarters.Source link
