TechFlow News, December 19 — Twitter officially announced in a tweet that it will begin removing accounts created solely for the purpose of promoting other social platforms, as well as content containing links or usernames from other social platforms. The company stated this move will affect content from social media platforms including Meta Platforms' Facebook and Instagram, as well as Mastodon, Truth Social, Tribel, Nostr, and Post. Twitter emphasized that cross-posting content from any social media platform will still be permitted, and other platforms will not be affected.
