TechFlow News, December 1 — Sun Yuchen, founder of TRON, member of Huobi Global Advisory Committee, and Grenada's Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the World Trade Organization (WTO), participated in the Twitter Space discussion titled "Dialogue with the Hong Kong Government: Strategizing the Future."
Discussing the collaboration between TRON, Huobi, and Dominica on launching a digital identity initiative, Sun Yuchen stated that as this partnership expands, an increasing number of metaverse citizens will migrate to Dominica. Just as the United States was built into a powerful nation by immigrants in the physical world, Dominica is poised to become the "United States" of the metaverse.
Sun also revealed that the number of users who have registered through the Huobi platform and obtained digital identities has already exceeded Dominica’s national population. According to official data, Dominica had a population of 77,000 in 2021.
