TechFlow news — Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) tweeted that two weeks after obtaining a license in Kazakhstan, the Binance team held meetings with Berik Sholpankulov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NKB), and Binur Zhalenov, head of the Payment Technology Center. They were introduced to the BNB Chain community to discuss integrating NKB's CBDC (central bank digital currency) with BNB Chain. "Looking forward to the integration of NKB’s CBDC into BNB Chain to bridge the gap between traditional banking and the crypto ecosystem."
It is reported that NKB recently launched a CBDC pilot project in a controlled environment involving real consumers and merchants.Original link
