TechFlow News — On October 10, Eastern Time, Web3 data infrastructure platform Computecoin announced the official open-sourcing of its mainnet code, which is now available on GitHub. This marks the release of one of the world’s earliest DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph)-based foundational public blockchains to support smart contracts, refined over four years of development. The mainnet serves as a critical component for building Web3 data infrastructure. Computecoin’s network boasts high concurrency, high throughput, and extremely low transaction fees—delivering a stable average TPS of 3,000, peaking at up to 20,000, with near-zero transaction costs. Additionally, the network is fully EVM-compatible and enables cross-chain interoperability with Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and other blockchains.
At the same time, Computecoin has launched a joint hackathon with Storj called the Web3 Stack Hack, officially kicking off on October 10, Eastern Time. The event aims to attract developers who are eager to build and deploy decentralized applications using decentralized data infrastructure, encouraging participation in Web3 technological innovation. Final project demos will be presented on December 15, attended by investors, researchers, and industry professionals. The hackathon features a $15,000 prize pool. Winners will not only receive substantial rewards but also gain opportunities to collaborate with leading teams, experts, and investors in the Web3 space!Hackathon details
