TechFlow news — Sensat, a London-based "digital twin" software company for the metaverse, has announced a $20.5 million Series B funding round led by National Grid Partners (NGP), the investment arm of UK multinational energy giant National Grid.
Sensat previously raised $10 million in a Series A round in 2019, led by Tencent. To date, the company has raised approximately $35.5 million in total funding. Sensat provides tools that "replicate" the real world for industries such as construction, mining, and energy, aligning with the rapidly growing metaverse market. The company claims its current level of commercial implementation is ahead of Meta's. Source link
