TechFlow news — Sensat, a London-based "digital twin" software company for the metaverse, has announced a $20.5 million Series B funding round led by National Grid Partners (NGP), the investment arm of UK multinational energy giant National Grid.
Sensat previously raised $10 million in a Series A round in 2019, led by Tencent. To date, the company has raised approximately $35.5 million in total funding. Sensat provides tools that "replicate" the real world for industries such as construction, mining, and energy, aligning with the rapidly growing metaverse market.
