A 48-hour compensation plan has been proposed for affected users, and NFTs are being repurchased from the market to rebuild the operating wallet. Currently, the Meta-morphic NFT collection has surged 470% in 24 hours, with the floor price rebounding to above 1.34 ETH.
Notably, at 12:24 AM Beijing time on October 17, the wallet used by LiveArt, an art NFT issuance platform, for the Meta-morphic project’s marketplace operations was hacked, resulting in the theft of 197 Meta-morphic NFTs. At 2:19 PM the same day, the team publicly disclosed the incident details and root cause in their Discord community, taking full responsibility.
