TechFlow news, tech giant Apple is about to reach an agreement allowing Web3 startups to sell NFTs through its App Store. Under the new policy, NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, LooksRare, and Magic Eden will be able to sell hosted digital collectibles via the Apple Pay gateway.
Earlier reports indicated that Apple charged up to a 30% commission on NFT transactions conducted within iOS apps. However, since Apple currently does not process any cryptocurrency transactions, App Store purchases must be made in U.S. dollars, and converting back to cryptocurrency is extremely difficult. This ultimately drove NFT traders away from the Apple ecosystem, as the high fees made it nearly impossible for NFT projects to be profitable.Original link
