TechFlow news — SevenX Ventures, an emerging crypto investment fund in Asia, announced the first close of $80 million for Fund III.
According to sources, SevenX Ventures Fund III has a total target size of $100 million and will complete its fundraising by the end of October. The fund's capital primarily comes from continued investments by existing limited partners (LPs) from its first and second funds, as well as family offices of leading internet entrepreneurs in Asia. SevenX Ventures Fund III will maintain its consistent strategy of a boutique fund, bridging entrepreneurs and ecosystems across East and West, while delivering key post-investment services such as economic system design.
Sixty percent of Fund III’s capital will be allocated to middleware and infrastructure protocols centered on the data layer, while 40% will support decentralized applications developed by Asian builders, covering new business model explorations in gaming, finance, content, and social sectors.
