TechFlow News, September 13 — NFT rental protocol Rentable announced its shutdown, with all services ceasing from October 14. The founder stated, "We haven't found a product-market fit, and our runway has ended. After multiple careful considerations and discussions, we'd rather proceed toward shutting down than pursue further fundraising."
Officially, rentals will be disabled starting September 13, 2022, allowing only withdrawals. Users must withdraw by 11:59 PM UTC on October 13. From 12 AM on the 14th, the protocol will be suspended, and the official frontend will no longer be accessible. All smart contract code is open-source, and the community is welcome to fork or clone it. The contracts will remain available on Etherscan, while the GitHub repository will be deleted. All other channels—Telegram, Discord, Twitter, Medium—will be deactivated.
