TechFlow news, the L2 scaling solution Boba Network has announced its engineering roadmap for 2022 to 2023. In 2022, Boba plans to implement veTokenomics and launch veBoba, allowing token holders to "vote-escrow" their tokens by locking them up, enabling decentralized governance through DAO voting; launch the Boba L2 Rollup client Anchorage, promoting diversity in Rollup clients by integrating Bedrock into Erigon and expanding support for additional L1 chains; enhance support for more complex data structures and data types via hybrid computation.
In 2023, Boba will reform its Optimistic Rollup architecture by introducing verification proofs and improving developer and user experience; add Escape Hatches for Layer 1 and delayed code upgrades; implement Rollup Account Abstraction, enabling derivation of various account types from a single account type (contract accounts); develop a hybrid Rollup architecture combining Optimistic Rollup and ZK Rollup; and invest resources into parallel execution of EVM transactions.Source link
