TechFlow News — Cross-border payment company Tranglo leverages RippleNet to deliver enhanced cross-border payment services across 120 countries, reaching 650 mobile operators, 2,200 banks and wallets, and 140,000 cash pickup locations. Meanwhile, Ripple’s global payments network will also enable instant payment services for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the second-largest economy in the Arab world.
In a recent tweet, Tranglo announced the addition of the UAE to its Connect Network, a solution designed to offer businesses instant settlement, low-cost transactions, and other benefits.
Earlier this year, cross-border settlements in the UAE rose by 8.2% in the first quarter of 2022. This growth has prompted Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank to project a 6% increase in remittances to the country by the end of this year.Original link
