TechFlow News — Web3 music streaming service Audius announced Tuesday that it is rolling out a new feature enabling creators to monetize their content by allowing listeners to tip artists. Using Audius’s platform governance token, users can send tips to any artist publishing music on the platform, regardless of their follower count.
Audius serves 7 million monthly listeners and 250,000 artists. Roneil Rumburg, co-founder and CEO of Audius, said the company is now shifting its platform—developed since 2018—toward creator monetization, supporting artists in new ways.
