The round was backed by Archetype Ventures, Accomplice Ventures, Castle Island Ventures, Road Capital, CMS Holdings, Permit Ventures, and others. Stephanie Howard, co-founder of Endstate, previously worked at footwear companies including Nike, New Balance, and Reebok. The company plans to use NFTs to link physical products with digital assets, starting with sneakers.
