TechFlow News — Front, a cross-asset investing app, has announced an additional $5.5 million in seed funding, led by Streamlined VC, WndrCo, Rembrandt VC, B3 Capital, CapitalX, and Stonks, with participation from other venture firms and angel investors. The company's earlier backers include Will Smith (Dreamers VC), B Capital Group, Plug and Play, and Alumni Venture. To date, Front has raised over $10 million in seed funding. The new capital will be used to expand the app’s functionality to meet the needs of next-generation investors and to further integrate with global broker-dealers, cryptocurrency exchanges, and digital asset wallets within the year.
Front has a team of 40 people and primarily provides portfolio and data aggregation services across asset classes—including stocks, cryptocurrencies, alternatives, and NFTs—for brokers and crypto users. Since its launch in August 2021, the platform has aggregated over $600 million in connected assets and integrated with more than 50 brokerage platforms, including Robinhood, Coinbase, Ameritrade, and Alpaca.
