TechFlow news — According to local media Shanghai Securities News, Shenzhen will distribute 30 million yuan worth of digital RMB (e-CNY) to local residents to boost consumer spending. Starting at 10 a.m. on May 30, Shenzhen consumers can log in to the Meituan app and search for "Le Gou Shenzhen" to register for the lottery draw.
Winners will be able to use their digital RMB red packets at over 15,000 offline merchants in Shenzhen that support e-CNY payments, as well as across consumption scenarios on the Meituan platform. Additionally, users who choose participating banks marked with "Register & Instantly Get 20-yuan Coupon Package" will receive a 20-yuan Meituan coupon package upon successful registration.
