TechFlow news, on May 25, according to Cointelegraph, FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) said in an interview that he might donate between $100 million and $1 billion for the 2024 U.S. presidential election, potentially making him the largest political donor in a single election cycle.
When asked how much he might contribute during the next presidential election, SBF responded that if he were to fund candidates running against former President Donald Trump, he would donate "over $100 million," with a "soft cap" of $1 billion.
It is reported that SBF previously donated $5.2 million to President Biden's campaign.
