TechFlow news, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin (V God) has donated $4 million worth of USDC to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia to support the development of epidemic detection tools.
The donation amounts to approximately 5.3 million Australian dollars and comes from the Balvi Philanthropic Fund, established by Vitalik Buterin in collaboration with the Shiba Inu project and Crypto Relief, aiming to assist in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. The new funding will further support the development of the EPIWATCH tool based on OISNT, which uses artificial intelligence and open-source data to generate early warning signals for epidemics.
