TechFlow news, according to a filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday, Cipher Mining (CIFR) has increased its total hash rate forecast for the remainder of 2022 by 0.5 EH/s.
In its 2021 annual earnings report, Cipher Mining stated it expected to deploy a total of 8.5 EH/s by the end of 2022, with 7.2 EH/s dedicated to its self-mining operations. The miner now expects a total hash rate of 9 EH/s, with 7.5 EH/s allocated to its own mining activities. CEO Tyler Page said during Tuesday's analyst call that the company has purchase agreements with Bitmain and MicroBT for 27,000 and 60,000 mining machines, respectively.
