TechFlow News — The Alpha version of Neon, Solana's EVM solution, has launched on the Solana Devnet (developer network), enabling developers to use the EVM on Solana.
According to the team, the goal of the Neon EVM Alpha release is to demonstrate platform stability to the community. The Alpha phase will be driven by dApps deployed on Neon EVM, with their interactions reflecting how the EVM performs in real-world scenarios.
Neon EVM creates an EVM-like code execution environment, establishing an Ethereum-compatible layer on the Solana blockchain that allows anyone to run Ethereum smart contracts on Solana.
