TechFlow news — Cross the Ages, a blockchain-based game, has raised $12 million in seed funding from Ubisoft, The Sandbox, Animoca Brands, and Sebastien Borget, co-founder and COO of Polygon, the blockchain network on which the game is built. The funds will be used to further develop the game, hire talent, and support its launch.
Cross the Ages Universe is a digital collectible card game. The company currently has a growing team of 140 people, including 70 artists who previously worked on major franchises such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. According to the official roadmap on its website, the game is set to officially launch in June this year.
