TechFlow news, the Uniswap community has published a governance proposal aiming to expand Uniswap into the Polkadot ecosystem by deploying Uniswap V3 on Moonbeam, a smart contract platform within the Polkadot ecosystem, through community authorization. It is reported that the cross-chain bridge solution Nomad has committed to donating $2.5 million via the Moonbeam Foundation Grant Program to support Uniswap's development of cross-chain applications, open-source wallet software, and its multi-chain ecosystem.
According to the proposal, in addition to providing liquidity mining incentives, the deployment on Moonbeam may also support higher leverage. The proposal's author intends to use this initiative as a demonstration to create a universal solution for cross-chain deployments.
As shown on Snapshot, the proposal currently has a 100% approval rate and will conclude voting on April 3.
Moonbeam is a smart contract platform in the Polkadot ecosystem with EVM compatibility, which launched its mainnet on January 11 this year.
