TechFlow News — LayerZero Labs, a developer of multi-chain interoperability protocols, has raised $135 million in Series A+ funding led by FTX Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and a16z. Participants include Coinbase Ventures, PayPal Ventures, Tiger Global, and Uniswap Labs, with the company now valued at $1 billion.
LayerZero Labs, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, operates a cross-chain interoperability protocol that serves as critical infrastructure connecting any given contract across all supported blockchains. Last September, the project raised $6 million in Series A funding led by Multicoin Capital and Binance Labs.
