TechFlow news, the Definity Foundation announced it will host the first-ever global Internet Computer hackathon, Supernova, from May 10 to June 20, 2022. The event will last six weeks, during which project teams can submit their entries before June 20.
The total prize pool for this hackathon amounts to $6 million. Sponsors and judges include Polychain Capital, Electric Capital, Huobi, Foresight Ventures, Tomahawk.VC, and Animal Ventures.
Categories covered in this Supernova hackathon include Web3, DeFi, NFT gaming, decentralized social, infrastructure, and social impact. For each of these six main categories, there are five tiers of awards. Additionally, the jury will grant a GRAND CHAMPION award to the strongest hackathon project, while the submission receiving the most community votes will win the Community Choice Award.
