TechFlow news, MetaMask's official Twitter has shared a Forbes report stating, "Chrome has released a high-severity security update. They haven't disclosed the nature of it to us, but you should always apply security updates promptly. Please take a moment to update your browser immediately."
The Forbes article notes that Google has issued an emergency security update for all Chrome users, as it confirmed attackers are already exploiting a critical zero-day vulnerability. The emergency update to Chrome version 99.0.4844.84 is highly unusual because it addresses just one single security flaw. Therefore, all Chrome users are advised to update their browsers urgently.
