TechFlow News — Sushi community manager Tangle and former Sushi lead 0xMaki have jointly submitted a proposal on the Sushi governance forum, suggesting that Sushi integrate Stargate to advance omnichain native asset bridging and transfers across networks. By enabling users to freely move assets between chains, this integration would enhance cross-chain user experience across multiple networks, helping unlock Sushi's full potential. The proposal notes that Stargate will support the Sushi community with this integration at no cost.
Stargate is a cross-chain bridge developed by interoperability protocol LayerZero. It recently launched its SGT token and has reached a TVL of $1.03 billion. 0xMaki announced his departure from Sushiswap last year and has recently joined LayerZero as Chief Strategic Advisor.
