TechFlow news — On March 16, cryptocurrency exchange FTX announced a partnership with AZA Finance to accelerate the adoption of Web3 and digital currencies in Africa, tightly integrating the Web3 economy with Africa's strong growth momentum. Led by CEO and founder Elizabeth Rossiello, AZA Finance is a pioneer in African fintech and was the continent’s first digital currency exchange. Its subsidiaries are licensed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Bank of Spain.
AZA Finance offers cutting-edge foreign exchange, payment, and financial services. To date, it has expanded into 10 African markets, launched over 300 trading pairs, and facilitated more than £200 billion in transactions across over 115 countries. Last year, AZA Finance further expanded by acquiring South African payment company Exchange4Free, solidifying its position as Africa’s largest non-bank foreign exchange provider.
