TechFlow news on February 19: Gala Games, an Ethereum-based blockchain gaming platform, announced it will launch testing activities for its proprietary blockchain network, Gala Chain, within a few weeks. Gala Games stated that Gala Chain will officially be named Project GYRI, offering faster transaction speeds, lower energy consumption, reduced network fees, and lower minting costs compared to Ethereum, while also enhancing interoperability within Gala World. The upcoming test is expected to take place in the form of a beta game, allowing players to intuitively experience how Project GYRI operates. During the beta, players can earn a token called TEST through gameplay. TEST tokens can be used in other Gala Games platform titles for upgrades and earning rewards, but cannot be transferred or sold.
