TechFlow News On January 21, the EOS community aims to rectify its past mistakes by reestablishing technical ties with EOS founder Dan Larimer (BM), who has designed the Mandel hard fork. In return, the EOS Network Foundation (ENF) will fund BM's development efforts through grants paid in EOS tokens. Larimer's Mandel upgrade is a hard fork that, if adopted by validators in the second quarter, would effectively place control of the EOS codebase—and thus control over the network—into the hands of the EOS Network Foundation. Previously, on January 10, 2021, Dan Larimer (BM), Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Block.one, announced on the HIVE blog that he had resigned from his position as CTO of Block.one.
