TechFlow News, January 21 — Twitter announced its NFT profile picture verification feature, allowing some users to import NFTs from their crypto wallets and set them as their Twitter avatars. By leveraging the OpenSea API, metadata, and collection verification, this integration enables users to seamlessly verify ownership and discover key NFT information, including the NFT name, original creator, collection description, and other artwork attributes. Currently, NFT verification is only available to users subscribed to Twitter Blue, a $2.99 monthly service offering a streamlined user experience and an "Undo" button, along with other premium cosmetic features. The service is currently accessible only to iOS users, though Android and web users will still be able to view NFTs.
