TechFlow News, December 12 — Security firm PeckShield Inc. (Pai Dun) tweeted that the estimated loss from AscendEX's breach amounts to $77.7 million ($60 million on Ethereum, $9.2 million on BSC, and $8.5 million on Polygon). The company also provided a list of assets transferred out on Ethereum along with their amounts. Earlier, according to an official announcement, at 6:00 AM Beijing time on December 12, AscendEX’s internal security audit report revealed abnormal transfers of certain ERC-20, BSC, and Polygon tokens from the exchange’s hot wallet. AscendEX confirmed its cold wallet was unaffected by this incident.
