TechFlow News, December 8 — dYdX halted trading for several hours early this morning at 5 a.m. Beijing time. The team explained that the outage was caused by an AWS infrastructure failure. Currently, dYdX has set orders to "post-only" mode and is considering migrating some critical services from ECS to EC2. The affected AWS servers were located in the us-east-1 region in Virginia, the largest AWS data center. Following the disruption, services including Disney+, PUBG, and League of Legends (LOL) also experienced outages.
