TechFlow News — According to an official announcement from Binance, Binance Labs has led a $1.5 million seed round in Bulletin Board System (BBS) Network. BBS is a decentralized Web3.0 public network composed of user-run online bulletin boards.
BBS Network is a SocialFi project that enables users to share original content, while creators, curators, and other contributors can earn rewards in the form of native tokens.
Eyal Hertzog, Founder and CEO of BBS, said: "The mission of BBS Network is to return control of social media content and its earnings back to users themselves. SocialFi will be the next big trend in blockchain, and through our collaboration with Binance Labs, we will further advance the decentralization of SocialFi. Following this funding round, we will focus on developing new features including a native app, search engine, and cross-BBS verification."
Ken Li, Investment Director at Binance Labs, said: "Our team has long been dedicated to the Web3.0 SocialFi space. We are excited about the potential of decentralization to benefit the entire creative economy and billions of active social media users worldwide."
