TechFlow news — On December 2, according to CoinDesk, decentralized organization Badger DAO confirmed it was hacked, suffering losses amounting to $120.3 million, including approximately 2,100 BTC and 151 ETH. Current speculation in community channels suggests the attack exploited a vulnerability in the user interface rather than in the core protocol contracts. In response, Badger engineers have paused all smart contracts to prevent further losses while investigation continues. Previously, Badger DAO experienced a hack where user assets were transferred without authorization. After initial assessment by developers, the compromised assets were reported to include 136,000 bcvxCRV, 64,000 bveCVX, 38 ibBTC/sBTC, 13 bibBTC/sBTC, and 19 DIGG.
