TechFlow News — After the failed auction of a copy of the U.S. Constitution, members of ConstitutionDAO may not receive full refunds. According to previously disclosed information, ConstitutionDAO raised over $45 million for the auction, and some members are now requesting refunds. However, many donors who are new to the Ethereum ecosystem may not realize that the network’s high gas fees mean their contributions cannot be fully refunded. Some have already expressed reluctance in ConstitutionDAO’s Discord community to pay the gas fees required for refund transactions. Additionally, ConstitutionDAO has announced the appointment of two new organizational leaders: Brian Wagner, a core contributor to decentralized autonomous organizations, and Liminal Warmth, a Web3 enthusiast. It remains unclear how these newly appointed leaders will address the refund issue.
