TechFlow News — Chromia, a blockchain for games, has announced an $80 million grant fund for development teams building within the Chromia gaming ecosystem, with partners including prominent game projects Mines of Dalarnia (MoD), My Neighbor Alice (MNA), and Revolve Games.
Although Chromia can serve as a general-purpose Layer1 and Layer2 network, several distinctive features make it a particularly suitable tool for game developers:
1. A more efficient relational database architecture that enables easier data storage and retrieval;
2. The Chromia Original NFT standard offers more features and functionality compared to the ERC-721 standard;
3. High scalability, enabling cross-game asset transfers across Chromia-based games to create synergies between in-game economies;
