TechFlow news — Twitter has integrated Bitcoin via the Lightning Network, enabling Bitcoin tipping for iOS users. The tipping feature will rely entirely on third-party payment services such as the Strike app. Twitter will integrate Strike’s Bitcoin Lightning wallet service so creators can receive Bitcoin tips. The company will also allow users to add their Bitcoin addresses to send and receive these cryptocurrency tips. This integration is currently available only to iOS users and will roll out to Android users in the coming weeks. Additionally, Twitter plans to launch an NFT verification feature, allowing users to verify and display their collected NFTs on the platform; this particular product is still in early development.
