TechFlow, August 13 — SHENYU posted on Weibo that within 52 hours after the Poly Network attack, the white-hat hacker had returned all $580 million, including $33.43 million worth of USDT frozen by Tether and $230 million held in a 3/4 multisig address jointly controlled by both parties.
SHENYU stated, "As someone who experienced this rescue firsthand, I'd like to especially thank the white-hat hacker MR. 600 MILLION, SlowMist, Tether, PolyNetwork, and dozens of other contributors for their decentralized collaboration in rapidly analyzing the vulnerability, conducting orderly communication, and continuously advancing the resolution." He also announced plans to build a monument in CryptoVoxels to commemorate this event and express gratitude to all participants, promoting security development across the industry.
