TechFlow news — The Sichuan Regulatory Office of the National Energy Administration has issued a notice regarding convening a research seminar on virtual currency "mining" activities. According to the notice, in accordance with requirements from the National Energy Administration, to better understand the status of virtual currency mining in Sichuan, the office will organize a seminar scheduled for June 2, 2021, from 9:30 to 11:30. The meeting agenda includes relevant organizations reporting on mining-related situations and recommendations, as well as an analysis of the impact of shutting down mining operations on Sichuan's curtailed hydropower generation in 2021.
