TechFlow news, according to PolkaWorld, in the early hours today, Polkadot released a new version, Polkadot v0.9.0. This update includes client-side changes required for parachains to operate correctly. This means that once all nodes successfully upgrade to this version, the parachain functionality will be officially deployed on the Kusama network. Additionally, this version integrates Beefy and MMR (Merkle Mountain Range), laying the groundwork for the Polkadot-Ethereum bridge, as well as the previously mentioned Polkadot-Kusama bridge by Gavin (which, once connected, will allow 1% of DOT to be transferred to the Kusama network), and other cross-chain bridges.
