TechFlow news, April 23 — Today, Wang Yao, Assistant to the Secretary-General and Head of the Technology Department at the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), said in an interview with China Securities Journal that CAAM is accelerating the launch of the "Automotive Big Data Interchange Blockchain Platform." The platform is currently in trial operation and is expected to be officially released in June this year.
Wang Yao explained that under the proposed framework, enterprises will upload data fingerprints to this blockchain platform, where the data will be processed using one-way encryption algorithms, ensuring immutability after upload. In the event of disputes over data credibility, automakers can retrieve the original data package and compare it with the fingerprint stored on the platform to determine the truth.
