TechFlow news, according to official announcements, Ethereum layer-2 scaling project Celer Network has now deployed its scaling solution Layer2.finance testnet onto Ropsten and launched a testing competition event. The event will run until April 19, 00:00 UTC, featuring activities including yield farming contests, testing Layer2 Rollup functionality, and providing UI/UX feedback.
Layer2.finance is Celer's proposed scaling solution that enables DeFi scalability without migrating existing DeFi applications. Built on Optimistic Rollup, users can deposit funds into the Layer2.finance Rollup chain by making deposit transactions to the Rollup contract on Layer1. However, Layer2.finance does not migrate the DeFi protocols themselves to Layer2.
