TechFlow news — On August 6, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams announced on the official website the completion of an $11 million Series A funding round led by a16z. Other investors include USV, Paradigm, Version One, Variant, Parafi Capital, SV Angel, and A.Capital.
According to the official announcement, the team plans to use the funds to expand the team and develop Uniswap V3 to enhance the protocol's flexibility and capital efficiency. The team also stated that it will present product designs to the Ethereum community over the coming months and has released several job openings.
Uniswap is currently the largest decentralized exchange in the Ethereum ecosystem, achieving a trading volume of $1.5 billion in July.
