TechFlow news, July 20, according to Crowdfund Insider, Multicoin Capital, as the sole institutional investor, provided $1.75 million in seed funding to Trasia Labs to support its development of a perpetual contract trading platform targeted at the Asian market and natively built on Hyperliquid.
Trasia was co-founded by former Multicoin Capital partner Mable Jiang and Web3 practitioner Edison Chen. It launched its initial web version on July 17, providing bilingual support in Chinese and English, with a mobile app expected to launch in August. The platform currently accesses Hyperliquid's native perpetual market in a non-custodial mode, and plans to launch proprietary contract products subsequently, focusing on assets related to high-heat sectors such as AI infrastructure.
In addition, over $35 million in HYPE and USDC funds have been committed to support Trasia's Asian stock perpetual market and related growth plans launched based on the HIP-3 mechanism. Trasia will focus on mobile-first, localized operations, and regional resources such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Tokyo, striving to attract more Asian users to participate in on-chain derivatives trading.
