TechFlow News, June 3: Philip Martin, Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Coinbase, announced that he will officially depart the company by the end of June 2026. Martin joined Coinbase in April 2016 as employee #50+, leading the development of the company’s security framework during his decade-long tenure. He expressed gratitude to the security team and company leadership and confirmed that current Head of Security J. Lunglhofer will succeed him as CSO, calling him the “clear successor.”
