TechFlow News, April 30: Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated that he welcomes the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) announcement last Friday to drop its investigation into him. Over the past weekend, the DOJ provided assurances that it will not restart the investigation unless a criminal referral is made. “I will not step down before the DOJ’s investigation is fully concluded. I will remain on the Board of Governors beyond May 15 for an undetermined duration and will depart the Federal Reserve at an appropriate time. I will serve as a Board member in a low-key manner.” (Jinshi)
