TechFlow News: On April 13, PeckShieldAlert reported that approximately one billion Polkadot (DOT) tokens were minted and dumped on the Ethereum network.
According to CertiK’s monitoring, the Hyperbridge gateway contract was compromised. The attacker forged messages to alter the admin privileges of the Polkadot token contract on Ethereum, then minted and sold one billion tokens, netting roughly $237,000.
