TechFlow News, March 20: According to The Information, Ledger, the cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer, has appointed former Circle executive John Andrews as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to advance preparations for a potential initial public offering (IPO). Prior to joining Ledger, Andrews served as Head of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at stablecoin issuer Circle and played a key role in Circle’s IPO process. His appointment is viewed as a critical personnel move by Ledger toward going public.
John Andrews stated that Ledger’s IPO plans may face delays due to current market volatility.
