TechFlow News, March 17: Bitget recently announced that tokenized stocks and ETFs powered by Ondo Finance will be listed in Bitget’s Spot Market Innovation Zone, Stocks Zone, and ETF Zone.
The newly listed assets cover multiple major underlying securities, including Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), as well as index-based ETFs such as SPY, IVV, QQQ, IWM, and ITOT. Additionally, precious metal assets linked to gold and silver are also being introduced, offering users broader cross-market allocation options. These assets were previously launched on Bitget’s on-chain trading products.
Ondo and its affiliated entities hold U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-registered Broker-Dealer and Alternative Trading System (ATS) licenses, enabling compliant securities issuance. Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, stated that this collaboration with Ondo brings globally recognized equities, indices, and precious metal assets into the spot trading environment, helping meet users’ diverse allocation and trading needs.
Bitget is among the earliest mainstream platforms to support Ondo’s tokenized assets and at one point accounted for 90% of total trading volume for Ondo-related assets. Ian De Bode, President of Ondo Finance, noted that the partnership will further advance the platform’s evolution toward an integrated multi-asset trading model.
