TechFlow News, March 10: Ying Yong, Procurator-General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China, delivered the Supreme People’s Procuratorate’s Work Report to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, stating that in 2025, efforts to combat money laundering will be intensified—3,259 individuals involved in money laundering crimes using virtual currencies, underground banks, and other methods will be prosecuted. Telecommunications and internet fraud will also be punished in accordance with the law, with 69,000 individuals prosecuted.
